If you leave your clothes in your dryer longer than 30 minutes, you are wasting time and energy and your risking a fire. Consumer Product Safety Commission says that in the U.S. in the year 2000, there were 12,700 clothes dryer fires resulting in $99,400,000, that is over 99 MILLION dollars in damages. A clogged dryer vent adds risk because lint is highly flammable and the temperature rises with a restricted air flow. You need your dryer vents cleaned today.

Our air duct cleaning certified technicians complete all dryer vent cleanings. Dryer vent cleaning includes cleaning the dryer; an integral part of safety and efficiency for the homeowner.

Attic Insulation
Attic Insulation

Why Insulate my Attic?Inadequate insulation is a leading cause of energy waste in most homes. Adding insulation saves money and also makes your home more comfortable and once the energy savings have paid for the installation cost, energy conserved is money saved.

How much insulation do I need?In many areas building codes require a minimum of an R-30; the "Department of Energy" recommends that attics have at least an R-49. The "DOE" is making that recommendation for many areas based upon the extreme heat that those areas experience three months out of the year.

Radiant Barrier

Radiant heat accounts for 93% of the heat gain in your home. LO/MIT radiant barrier spray stops the majority of the sun's heat from ever entering the Attic. LO/MIT produces the lowest emissivity available in sprayed radiant barrier products; 0.24 or less.

This means LO/MIT blocks at least 76% of the radiant heat trying to enter your attic.

LO/MIT does not trap water (like some Latex based coatings) so you need not worry about mold problems.

Attic Ventilation

Proper attic ventilation is a vital piece of any energy efficiency strategy. Proper Attic Ventilation combined with LO/MIT radiant barrier can lower your attic temperature dramatically and save you some serious cash.

Duct Sealing
Duct Sealing

Why is Duct Leakage Important? Leaks in forced air duct systems are now recognized as a major source of energy waste in both new and existing houses. Studies indicate that duct leakage can account for as much as 30% of total house energy loss, and in many cases has a greater impact on energy use than air infiltration through the building shell. Just as important, duct leakage can prevent heating and cooling systems from doing their job properly, resulting in hot or cold rooms, and humidity problems. Worse yet, duct leaks can create air quality problems by pulling pollutants and irritants directly into the house.

Weatherization
Weatherization

What it means? Weatherization is the practice of making a building more energy efficient by sealing its exterior against wind and precipitation and protecting its interior from heat and cold. Buttoning up the envelope of a house with insulation and caulk is the first line of defense.
